Footer text editing and undo/redo in the template designer — 2026-10-02 17:50

• Footer and header text placed on the canvas now print what you type; before, the template-wide text was always used.
• The template designer has Undo and Redo buttons (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) covering blocks, text, colours, style and groups.
• Fixed: pressing Backspace while typing in a designer field could delete the selected block.

Logo, image and shape headers and footers — 2026-10-02 17:15

• The canvas can now build a header or footer from your logo, any uploaded picture, text, rectangles, rounded boxes, ellipses and lines.
• Text elements have size, colour and bold controls.
• Header and footer pictures show a pencil button: click it to replace the picture straight away, in both the canvas and the template designer.

Template gallery with live previews — 2026-10-02 16:45

• Settings → Templates is now one horizontally scrolling row: the four built-ins, your custom templates, then a + tile to add another. Every card shows a live thumbnail of the top of the page with your own logo and letterhead.
• Each card has Customize (opens the designer) and View (a full-size preview).

Four built-in templates plus up to four of your own — 2026-10-02 16:20

• Settings → Templates now shows the four built-in templates (always editable: logo, signatures, watermark, layout) and a separate Your Custom Templates section.
• Create up to 4 custom templates on the free canvas, from a blank page or from a built-in. Delete one to make room for another.
• Custom templates can now be deleted from the template card.

Free-position template canvas — 2026-10-02 15:40

• Settings → Templates → + Free Canvas… lets you design a report by placing every element anywhere on the page: drag to move, drag the corner to resize, arrow keys to nudge, with snap, zoom, undo and redo.
• Start from a blank page or from any built-in template; add logos, text, tables, signatures and QR codes from the element list.
• The canvas preview is the real report, so what you place is exactly what prints.

Watermark on reports — 2026-10-02 15:10

• Template designer → Style now has a Watermark option: your logo or stamp, or text such as CONFIDENTIAL, faint behind the findings, with adjustable opacity.

Lab-wide parameter names and units — 2026-10-02 14:50

• Rename a parameter or its unit once (for example Hemoglobin to Hb, g/dL to g/dl) under Settings → Names & Units.
• The change applies everywhere a report is shown or printed, including reports that were already saved.

Four report templates, one per test group — 2026-10-02 14:25

• The template library now has four built-ins grouped by test: Haematology, Biochemistry & Hormones, Clinical Pathology & Microbiology and Histopathology & Cytology.
• Each test category prints on its matching template by default. You can still remap any category in Settings → Templates.
• Labs created before this release get the new Biochemistry template added automatically; templates you have edited are left untouched.
