Labgen includes a built-in team chat so your staff can coordinate — about a tricky sample, a waiting patient, or a result that needs a second look — without switching to another app.
Where it lives
Chat sits in a collapsible panel on the right of the dashboard. Open it to message colleagues while you keep working; collapse it to give your current screen the full width. Labgen remembers your preference between sessions.
Unread messages
When the panel is collapsed, an unread count keeps you aware of new messages so nothing urgent gets missed during a busy shift.
Keep it in context
Because chat lives inside Labgen, conversations stay close to the work — handy for confirming a verification or flagging a critical value to a colleague.
